Problem

I get a “C++ runtime error abnormal program termination” message when I open CODESOFT 9.

Resolution

Go to Control Panel and then open Add or Remove Programs (Programs and Features).
After the list of programs appears, look for .Net Framework 3.5 SP1.
If you see this program, select it and click Uninstall/Repair.
When the Uninstall window appears, click Repair.
After you click Repair, the software should go through the Repair install process.
After it is completed, click Finish.
Open CODESOFT 9. The software should now open correctly.
